The final is drawing near. Fans have already arrived at the stadium in Moscow. In less than an hour’s time, the UEFA Champion League Final will kick off. Meanwhile, I found this very enchanting image posted on BBC website, featuring Cristiano Ronaldo and Didier Drogba.
While we wait patiently, which team do you support?
This is sick! Ronaldo scored the first goal in the first half and Lampard equalised just before half time. The game is now tied at 1-1 after full-time. It’s going into extra time now.
This is disgusting… It’s going into penalty shoot-out after extra-time. Oh, I hate this.
Manchester United HAS WON IT!!!
Thanks to Al’s introduction on SelfMadeMinds, I came across this nifty, sweet WordPress Mobile Edition plugin, developed by Alex King. Finding it relatively interesting, especially for people who are always on the move, carrying mobile devices; this plugin is definitely a plus point for WordPress blog sites.
With hesitation, I installed and activated it instantly on this blog site. However, there is only one issue regarding manual inclusion of a line of PHP code, which does not work for me. Perhaps, it’s because this blog is powered by a legacy version of WordPress, i.e. WordPress 2.0.11.
Nevertheless, I removed that line. What’s more important, it should work on mobile devices. Hence, I tried out the plugin using an online emulator, and it works.
Hence, I am quite delighted about the effect. It should help to save on bandwidth for mobile users.
One week has passed, we (members of HostMatrix Forums) have come to realised the truth and the fact that the data that the forums has accumulated over the last 3 years are not going to return. This is a simple evidence of how vulnerable a web site or data can be, even with the safest precaution that any webmaster could thought that have already taken care of.
Back to reality, the forums is starting from scratch; not exactly true, but somewhere starting from year 2005. That was even before the time I joined HostMatrix, as my account was nowhere to be found. However, having fostered good friendship with some members in the community, I am not going to let this go, so I am back to the site again, somewhat helping with the rebuilding of the site in certain way.
The beginning phase is going to be difficult, but the future is bright. The posts are starting to pour in every single day, since a new theme is now in place, with the vBulletin version upgraded to the latest release. Hence, it won’t be long before HostMatrix is back running at full force again.
Just in case, if any competitor attempt to take down the site; just a thought, it’s people’s power. Not system-power. Members of HostMatrix will remain here with the community. It’s the closeness of the people around us that matters.
In less than 48 hours, the UEFA Champion League will kick off in Moscow with two English team eyeing on the prized European trophy – Manchester United and Chelsea.
During all these while, there have been several hypes going on, including but not limited to the following issues:
- Ronaldo linking a move to Real Madrid.
- Avram Grant and Sir Alex Ferguson playing mind games with referees.
- Vidic commenting on Drogba, saying the latter tends to dive…etc.
Nonetheless, the night is definitely going to shine on the grand stand as only one of them will lift the almighty trophy.

Well, currently my usage stands at 50%, so it is in a matter of time that the limit will be reached.

There is only 1 bus that goes to there; that is SBS Bus number 403, leaving the Pasir Ris Bus interchange, which is next to Pasir Ris MRT station. The waiting time for the bus is approximately about 20 to 30 minutes interval.
