It is Christmas Day evening and I am currently sitting outside Starbucks at Raffles City Shopping Centre, after a walk around the shopping centre. It was nothing much truly, even after the post-Christmas Day.
So, whilst I go and order something, let’s see how the night goes ^_^
By the way, the time now is 10:30pm, not exactly the time-stamp as shown on the post (since I have dated this post to an hour ahead).
However, what are all you guys doing now?

Merry Christmas to everyone! Just like to take this opportunity to wish all those that browsed past my blog site a very festive season. Take care and god bless!
Just another person on this planet
Canon in D is a very well-known piece of music, composed by Johann Pachelbel, and several arrangements exist. I do have a copy here, which is with compliment from mfiles.co.uk.
Arranged by Jim Paterson, this sheet of music is a piano piece for easy playing. If you are interested in trying it out, the PDF file is downloadable from the link below.

Last week, I traded in my HP notebook for an IBM ThinkPad X60s. Although I do not have a great impression for IBM, but I am starting to like it already. Featuring an extremely light weight system, with ultra-portable and long battery life, this laptop is definitely very useful for those people who often travel on the move.
Remarkably, this is a great performance improvement over the previous laptop as it commands a faster speed, as well as a quicker application access. With the dual core, applications can run almost twice as quickly. Not that it really runs twice the speed, but rather I can open more applications at the same time with almost little impact of the speed.
I was downloading Ubuntu 8.10 DVD on bittorrent last night, and it has completed well beforehand just this morning.
Ubuntu is one of the few Linux applications that I enjoyed using. The other 2 Linux distributions are openSUSE and Debian. The former is cool, because of its utility of KDE desktop to the fullest. The latter is extremely powerful when used as a server. The configuration part is extremely tedious, but once you do that properly, it works tireless for you.
Ubuntu is just like the counterpart of Windows in Linux environment. Well, not exactly, but it is close to it. There is occasional release every 6 months. The last release is on October 2008, which I did not have the time to perform a complete upgrade of the system at my home. Hopefully, I can do that today.
Meanwhile, enjoy the power of the Linux system!
The time now is half past 2 in the morning on Christmas’ eve. Come to think of it, I did not even realise that it’s already on Christmas eve! How time passes. Just slightly more than one year ago, I returned to Singapore after finishing my research overseas, and now I am working in a prestigious company.
During this period of time, a lot of things have happened; some were good, whereas others were not. Indeed, I have experienced both extreme cases of what has happened in my life for the past one year and a half, and I supposed it was probably the goodness that I had received, which kept me going strong.
Just not feeling well today. I woke up with a heavy head and throughout the afternoon, I just worked my way without any anesthetic to kill the pain.
Luckily, now that the day has ended; I just need a rest. However, there is still some work to do tonight. So, I guess that’s about it. Hopefully, the time will get better as it passes. Furthermore, it’s 2 more days to Christmas!
