Windows Live Hotmail Has Gone Missing

Windows Live

Windows Live Hotmail has gone missing! This is the first time that I noticed I could not log on to my Hotmail account via the web. I do have another Hotmail account, which I logged on and it says, the Inbox is not found. Just like the one shown below.

Missing Hotmail Inbox

Did Microsoft did something strange to it? Now that all the mails are inaccessible, I wondered how would user feel especially from the enterprise users’ point-of-view. Microsoft is losing it credibility.

UPDATE: Windows Live Hotmail is back now.

Easter

HappyEaster Friday 2009!!!

It is Good Friday – a public holiday for some countries, and not for others. Amazingly, I realised that my peers from the United States are not given this ocassion as a public holiday. They must be really envy of those who are. Well, it’s Easter!

Twitter Kept Hitting The Brake

Twitter Whale

Twitter, a very popular micro-blogging website has recently been hitting the brake. I have noticed that this website kept showing the Whale image (see above), carried by the birds.

Looks like the server resource is hitting the limit and it is time for them to do upgrades on the hardware. I don’t see much advertisement made from Twitter, but they have better do so, as I wondered how they can fund this actively-negotiated website.

Hectic Work – But Satisfying

April 4, 2009 · Posted in Rant Corner · Comments Off on Hectic Work – But Satisfying

hecticOver the last one week, I believe I am killing myself out in the corporate battlefield, ensuring that all the requirement is in place and matters are in compliance.

Whilst it was a crazy week, but I felt that at the end of the day, no job is lost; we get to carry on with out routine and our work is done!

One of the main challenges is to really go all out and combat the major stakeholders; ensuring that our processes stay in compliance, and they stay in compliance. At the end of the day, I could be receiving a lot of hate mails, nonetheless, if we come to realise the actual situation of not staying in compliance, people will truly appreciate. That is what I believe in.

You do the job you are tasked to do; and you do it. You are paid for what you do, you do what you are being paid for. Nothing more, nothing less.
