Manchester United Tops The Table

April 25, 2010 · Posted in English Football · Comment

At this point in time, it goes all the way right to the wire. Last week was Paul Scholes who salvage a win for Manchester United. This week, it was the other veteran, Ryan Giggs, who showcased his experience to bring lift the team back to the top spot, with a 3-1 win against Tottenham Hotspurs.

The win could be short-lived as Chelsea faced Stoke today (on Sunday), and could leapfrogged Manchester United back to the lead.

Three-Horse Race Gallops Into Two-Horse Challenge

April 18, 2010 · Posted in English Football · Comment

This weekend’s match is probably one of the most-deciding week of the premiership seasons. Check out the table as of latest status!

Last week, Manchester United was 4 points away from leader, Chesea, and Arsenal was just two points away from Manchester United. With 4 games left, none of the teams could duly afford to lose any remaining games.

Now, this week signifies a different story. Paul Scholes, having signed another one-year extension to his contract produced his masterclass to score the only goal (in the game) against Manchester City, in a derby match away from home. What made it special was its injury time goal, with a few seconds left to whistle.

Chelsea, the favourite to win the match against Tottenham, came crumbling down as John Terry was red-carded for his second yellow card in the match. On the other side, the win for Tottenham strengthened their position to aim for next season’s Champion League start.

Third-placed Arsenal could do nothing, after losing 3-2 against Wigan, as they kissed the title bid goodbye. Arsenal was still leading 2-0 with slightly more than 10 minutes left in the match, when 3 goals within a space of 11 minutes sealed the victory for Wigan. Arsene Wenger may have to start wondering what has really gone wrong.

Chitika – Switching Ads

April 16, 2010 · Posted in Site Info · 1 Comment

Today, I have been toying with Chitika Premium Ads. Previously, it has been showing up on my blog site, but for some reasons, it stopped.

Anyway, I realised that I had to add domains to the account. I knew it has got something to do with that. So, I proceed to do so. Hopefully, it won’t take long for the approval to kick in.

As compared to Google AdSense, one weakness of Chitika is such that, it does not support ads outside United States and Canada. This means losing revenue. Anyway, having this one additional source is better than none.

Exciting Last 4 Games in the EPL

April 15, 2010 · Posted in English Football · 1 Comment

If you check out the EPL table today, you can imagine how exciting the last 4 respective games in this season would be.

The title is now Chelsea to lose, but Manchester United is hot on the heels, albeit 4 points behind. Arsenal blew its chance to win the league this season after losing to Tottenham.

On the other hand, the 4th place is still up for grab; in other words, either Manchester City or Tottenham could potentially play in the Champion League. The 5th place would go for Uefa Cup.

Today, we are going to talk about Bill Gates, one of the richest men in the world, who is also one of the founders of Microsoft.

Recently, Bill Gates gave a speech at a High School about 11 things they did not and will not learn in school. He talks about how feel-good, politically correct teachings created a generation of kids with no concept of reality and how this concept set them up for failure in the real world.
