Another Personal Thoughts Whilst Waiting for Plane

November 4, 2008 · Posted in Thesis

There is roughly 20 minutes to go prior departure from Glasgow airport to Manchester; instead of letting my time goes to waste, I suppose writing some thing here might be more productive, or rather useful.

My personal thoughts – what is on my mind? It seems that I am feeling a little relaxed at the moment, but subconsciously worried about issues that might arise in the future. There are a lot of things – e.g. economy market, job availability, future prospects, personal life, etc. So many things seem to be going on within the last one year; some of which made me feel rejoiced while others made me feel down and sorrowful.

Life is a vicious circle like a sinusoidal waveform; there are times of ups and downs. So far, I am very contented at how life has been destined for me; I could ask no more for the kind of satisfaction that I have given myself (or others have given me) over the past 30 years of my life. With the ability to live life normally and living in a place with above-average standard of living, isn’t that a good thing to be contented with?

Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder, which I confirm the truth in this statement. Beauty is not just about the exterior appearance, but much more in terms of characters, personalities and nature. For some reasons, I thought nature should be a factor to define beauty. Should there not be sunlight to bright up the place, how can one possibly see the image that was revealed through our eyes and perceived by our minds? Water provides the hope for survival; without it, beauty is never a topic to be discussed by people, especially fashion designers (for they may not realised how much nature means to them).

So much about my ranting thoughts over the last 10 minutes. Being able to live the life through each day is already a gift that should be appreciated for. For all you know, life is fragile just like a piece of thread hanging on a piece of wire. When it breaks, it is time to go. Live life to the fullest…
