Backache Again – Bad Luck

What bad luck! My backache problem as returned, especially when it is just one week before Chinese New Year! Yesterday afternoon, whilst I am doing some spring cleaning, I had a sneezed and all of a sudden it triggered a back sprain. I supposed my spinal nerves were affected, as I could not stand upright properly.

Last night, I paid a visit to a Chinese Physician (Traditional Chinese Medicine, TCM), after much persuasion by my parents, to have a look at my back. With a couple of needles and a few hot spots at my back, it seems to have cured a little – but the back dislocation looks as though it’s the same as before.

Today, when I looked into the mirror, the body does look a little slanted, as it apparently positioned the spinal cord running towards one side of the body. Immediately I wore a support strap to keep my body upright. However, I am not sure how effective is that going to be. It is definitely going to affect my movement, nonetheless. Hope that I recover soon…
