carlos queiroz Carlos Queiroz   New Portugal CoachNews of the Manchester United assistant coach, Carlos Queiroz, moving to Portugal to become the coach of the national team has been announced. The move is definitely a blow to the Champion of England and Europe, Manchester United, as the arrival Portuguese coach has seen the club claimed several Premiership titles.

Whilst it is sad to see him go, but on a personal basis, it is definitely for his career. For his own country, it is definitely an honour to serve and lead the team.

Queiroz’s deal with Portugal’s Football Federation (FPF) is believed to be worth around £1.5m, after the departure of Scolari, who stayed with the team for five-and-a-half years.

This move might be detrimental to the club, as the Portuguese winger, Cristiano Ronaldo, is also under the limelight of wanting to move to Real Madrid, only that the move is being blocked by the club because of his contract.

How will Manchester United fare next season? This remains uncertain…
