Didier Drogba Wants To Leave Chelsea

October 20, 2007 · Posted in English Football

Didier DrogbaAfter Jose Mourinho, former manager of Chelsea, left the team, Chelsea has broken apart – with one of the most significant match against Manchester United, losing 0-2. It is no doubt that Didier Drogba is also facing the pressure of not having his former boss to back him up.

Over the last couple of days, Didier Drogba has been in the headline for displaying his dissent in one of the non-English newspaper; which eventually causes widespread speculation that he is heading out of Chelsea due to lack of support.

Just as it might be true, he responded to the latest news media that he has regreted what he had said. What’s more, he’s proven his action by scoring the first goal against Middlesborough.

How long can Chelsea hang on to their marksman, it depends… Until the current manager can prove his ability to manage the club the way Mourinho had – by leading them to win trophies – everything is just hanging on a tight rope.
