Feeling Feverish on a Friday

Last night, I went to bed with a really bad flu; I can feel “it” coming. Rightfully so, I woke up this morning with a terrible fever; my body is warm, and my mind is completely rattled as though it was about to explode.
Unwillingly, I dragged myself out of bed just to get into the shower. I’ve got to go to work, as my laptop is in the office. It could have been easier if I brought my work home last night.
I popped two pills of paracetamol down, hopefully it will help to restrain the aches that are peeling my body muscles. The train ride was like a complete hallucination - I simply closed my eyes and slept all the way to the final stop.
After arriving in office, I sort of felt slightly much better. I still have blocked nose, blocked ears, spinning head, aching muscles, slight cough, sore throat, drowsy and tired eyes, heavy head and running nose.
If my situation still does not improve, I could simply take a medical leave today and head off home for a good rest.
