wordpress-logo-icon-150x150 Finally Upgraded to WordPress Version 2.5It was without a final decision to decide and upgrade my site to the latest WordPress version of 2.5.1. Honestly, the decision was made with a certain risk.

I have enjoyed running my blog on the legacy version of WordPress 2.0.11, unfortunately, there are much less plugins these days that support any earlier versions of WordPress. The real factor that made me took this step is basically the FireStats plugin causing problem in my WordPress blog.

There were some hiccups during the upgrade and one of the major downfall is that my Sitemap did not work and I had to look for some form of advice over the Internet to get it to work. Once again, luckily it did not take me too long to find the solution.

The FireStats plugin, unfortunately, remains faulty. Although ticket was already raised to BlueHost and the FireStats developer, none has given me a concrete solution. Meanwhile, I’ll just stay put and see how things move on from here. The bright side of the story is, the site remains up and working.
