Fred Claus - Santa Claus’s Brother

When the story began, it claimed that the film is going to be a story unlike others and has never been heard before. True enough, the storyline is completely different from what I originally interpreted. The beginning was definitely out of the blue. It was probably one of the good film to catch just before Christmas starts in a couple of days’ time (By the way, I can’t remember when I catch this film; either late last month or early this month).
Built more on the comedy side of the film, St. Nicholas Claus (Santa Claus) has an elder brother, known as Fred Claus. His brother promised to be a good brother to him when he was born; but somehow as time goes on, the things that Nicholas did started to annoy him. As we know, he began to become frustrated, angry and lonely.
Many years later, Fred no longer stay with his brother, but at a busy metropolitan city of America. Until one time that he needed some financial help, he decided to seek his brother’s help. Nicholas, was already a Santa Claus, sending presents to children worldwide, as part of his “employment contract“.
Things start to get horribly wrong when a guy plotted to shut down the factory! Fred was just in the nick of time to help his brother deliver the goods. But, did he succeed eventually before sunrise?
Comments
- Recommendation 7/10 - It is definitely a worthwhile film to catch. It brings you lots of laughters along the way, but the downside is things can be quite expected. There was hardly much twist to the film, but good for bringing your family down to the cinema for a weekend.
- Comedy - Needless to say, there are loads of them. If you are coming into interaction with the elves, you know what I mean.
- Scene Analysis - The beginning of the storyline is unique, but as mentioned earlier, a lot of plots can be predicted. Perhaps, that’s the good things for children who are watching the film.
- Ending - Nice and sweet ending. I like it, nonetheless and I bet you do.
Well, I’m not going to put up a YouTube preview below as I do not have the time to find the preview film. Nonetheless you can search for “Fred Claus” in YouTube, I’m sure you will be able to find one there. Have a great day, Ho ho ho….
