M1 Sunperks Sucks

M1 Sunperks

Today, I realised that MobileOne (M1) SunPerks Rewards programme actually sucks. Account holders need to achieve at least 1,300 Rewards Points in order to be able to redeem some freebies. And, achieve that target is really not an easy feat!

The latest that I heard about their offer of 400 perk points to redeem movie ticket is also a marketing gimmicks – the tickets are whilst stock last. Don’t be surprised if you arrive at the cinema and the counter staff told you it’s out of stock. It is just not meant for end users (consumers).

I’ve redeemed their movie tickets before and i collected it at their paragon shop and not at the cinema so no worries about making a wasted trip. To be honest, most freebies are whilst stocks last across all brands. 🙂

It is quite impossible to have 1300 points at SunPerks Rewards programme for the lite plans in 24 months. M1 could meant that only loyal customer can enjoy it. Yeah, cool, nice marketing plan!!! Poor subscriber!!!

    Hi anonymous,

I have been with M1 for over 7 years! I’m sure that is way more than 24 months, but I am still not seeing my 1300 SunPerk points.

I agree, nice marketing plan – but not really meant for all classes of mobile phone subscribers.

    Hi anonymous,

I have been with M1 for over 9 years! I have only re-contracted once and lived happily ever after with my ancient phone, but I am still not seeing my 1300 SunPerk points…

    Hi MrBombastic,

I have been with M1 for more than 10 years. Till today, I still don’t see my redeemable SunPerk points. You probably have more luck getting points from credit card companies by charging the bill to them.

    So long, M1!
