Manchester United Not Up to Par with Sunderland
Consider themselves lucky yesterday. In my opinion, the Red Devils were completely out of sort, they were out-muscled, out-challenged and physically unbalanced. For almost every 50-50 ball challenged, Sunderland had got the better of the two.
This is quite a disappointing game so far for Manchester United, as they were almost heading towards a defeat when the scoreline remains 2-1 in favour of Sunderland.
Once again, the tradition continues at Old Trafford, with the never give-in attitude, the Red Devils scored a 92th minute goal through an own goal from Anton Ferdinand. They may have salvaged a point from the game, but in fact they dropped 2 points against a team just because of their under-par performance.
Ryan Giggs was not in this game – could this be the pivotal reason of why United has been winning for the last few games?
