Last night’s skipper for Manchester United is none other than Cristiano Ronaldo. As he captained the team for the first time, without the likes of Wayne Rooney, Ryan Giggs and Rio Ferdinand, the victory was certainly sweet as the home side swept aside Bolton to top the Premier League Table.
Currently in top form, Cristiano Ronaldo’s 33rd goal of the season in all competitions took him past the season record set by George Best of 32 goals scored by a winger. His 24th Premier League goal also ensure he tops the scoring table, taking him four goals clear of next closer challenger, Liverpool’s Fernando Torres.
With the season not even close to its end yet, there is definitely a lot to see from this young lad as he took the stage by storm. It will be a great test if he has the capability to perform in the European Champion League.
