Not So Good Year for the Horses

If you are born in the year of the horse of the Lunar calendar, e.g. 1978, it was advised by the fortune teller that this year (2008) is not a good year, especially to change jobs. I wonder how true can that be, but I do have a feeling that it might be true.
Over the last couple of years, things have been quite smooth-sailing, apart from some disappointing event, but overall I managed to get through them as time passes; hence, I admit that I have been enjoying some of the great few years. As expected, it will come to be a time when horses face an obstacle, which may prove to be decisive to what happen in later part of our lives. This might be that year.
In my agenda, I have thought of several things; e.g. complete my thesis, change job, move abroad…etc. However, the words from the fortune teller should never be left unheard. Though I am not exactly a superstitious person, but sometimes it might be better to believe certain things that might have certain risk level than to totally dismiss them.
As far as I am concerned, I am staying put and not making any major move until I am certain that the next step is safe. One can never be too safe, as I understood from many years of experience - events can never be prevented if they are meant to be, but within our own self control, sometimes we can do a little bit to change our own life, at least for the better.
