Off-in-lieu for Vesak Day 2009

I decided to take my replacement leave (or also known as off-in-lieu) today in place of Vesak Day. This year’s Vesak Day falls on a Saturday, and my current company policy is such that a replacement holiday is provided, which is to be consumed in the month of May.
I know that there are several works pending on my desks, but whilst I try to resolve them, it cannot be done overnight. Just need today to recuperate my energy for the rest of the week.
