Post Insurance Claim and Bill Payment

Though I woke up quite early this morning, I fell back into dreamland again as I was really tired. Later this morning, I walked to the nearest post box to post two important mails - one to the insurance company to process my claim, the other was to SingNet to pay the bill.
Last week, I received a confirmation letter from China Insurance Co. (Singapore) Pte Ltd that they will be compensating me for the delay of my flight from China (Shanghai) to Singapore. As the delay was more than 8 hours and with the evidence provided by the Airline company, I have no problem producing the proof that the flight has been delayed. Though the amount of money being compensated isn’t that large, but somehow it is still money and I am very satisfied with their professional customer service. So, if you happen to be looking for Travel Insurance (while travelling to China), I can recommend you this company. Of course, when it comes to claim, make sure you do have the necessary documentation to prove, as it helps you and the company to process your claim quicker.
I have been with SingNet for more than a decade, and I believe I will carry on holding onto this SingNet account. When I first signed up for this service, it was only a 56k dialup service. Because I was a student that time, it merely cost me S$3.50 a month (just a note, there is no such plan any more). Although I am using Broadband service (belonging to my brother’s account) today, I am still holding on to this SingNet account, because my email address is being attached to this account. Most of my close friends will use this email address to send me mails, less those unwanted junk and spam mails. Furthermore, it is not that expensive, and I can always use this for backup just in case the Broadband service dies one day (which you will never know), and then all services revert back to simple dialup connections.
