Pu Dong Airport – Oct 2009

Shanghai Pu Dong Airport Terminal 2

Sitting inside the Departure lounge, I patiently wait for the clock to tick by. Last night, I did my Internet check-in (something that I have not done before) chose my seat and confirmed my flight back to Singapore. My initial online experience accessing the Singapore Airlines website is a delight; simple and easy-to-use step-by-step methodology to reach the end.

The next thing that I kept thinking about is the weight of my check-in luggage. How much would that weigh? Luckily, when I proceed to the check-in counter to “on-board” my luggage, it is just less than 21kg. I felt a sign of relief.

It was a breeze walk-through process, and right now, I faced a constant dilemma of whether to sit at the coffee lounge to get a cup of cappuccino or wait relentlessly for 2 hours to countdown.

Quite luckily, there is this free WiFi Internet Service, provided by the Shanghai Pu Dong Airport, to keep me busy. Another hour to go before the gates open. So, for the time being, I’ll continue to keep myself occupied with web-surfing.
