Removing Mozilla Firefox Add-Ons

Written on September 5, 2007 – 3:39 pm | by Keith Neo

Firefox LogoOver the years, I have accumulated a lot of Add-ons on my Mozilla Firefox browser. However, as time passes, with the introduction of new browser versions, some of these Add-Ons become obsolete. Today, I am going to remove those unwanted Add-ons, which have been residing on the system doing nothing but slowing down the browsing experience.

Below are the current Add-Ons which I have them plugged onto my Mozilla Browser (and activated):

  1. British English Dictionary 1.19
  2. Gmail Space 0.5.6
  3. ScribeFire 1.4.2
  4. StumbleUpon 3.06
  5. Video Download 2.0

These are the unwanted ones (disabled add-ons) which I will have them permanently removed now:

  • AdSense Notifier 0.9.4
  • Google Notebook 1.0.0.18
  • Nightly Tester Tools 1.3b1
  • Tab Effect 1.1

Hopefully, after removing these add-ons (or plugins), the browser will run slightly faster.
