Samba Band Outside Tampines MRT Station

Band in TampinesI completely forgot about this band, which occurred a few months ago, when I was walking out of the train station in Tampines.

There was this group of band members performing just right outside the station. It came as a surprise to me, as such event does not come along every day. Seeing it as a rare sight, I took a picture of it with my mobile phone camera (actually, the mobile phone camera belongs to my brother).

The type of music that this band was playing was really enchanting. It has a samba style, particularly with several different drums hitting with quick rhythms and styles. I was completely absorbed into the music. I suppose they did it for some sort of interest or fund-raising; but the performance is well-worth the showcase.

Since then, I have not seen them already. There goes the samba music, but I hope they do come back and perform again.
