Scolari as New Chelsea Manager

It came very much as a surprise to everyone, although not many would have ruled him out of the position at Stamford Bridge, Luiz Felipe Scolari, current Portuguese coach has just been named as the new Chelsea manager.
As he is currently taking charge of Portugal team, which includes star players, Cristiano Ronaldo, Deco, Nani, etc, Scolari will only take over the position at Chelsea with effect from July 1, 2008.
This is probably a good sign for Chelsea and the English Premier League. However, what effects does it have on Manchester United and Cristiano Ronaldo, that remains difficult to be seen; especially with him leading the team out currently for Euro 2008.
