Spam Comments on the Rise

Akismet has got to be every WordPress, be it professional or amateur, users’ life Saviour. Think about how many spam comments go around every seconds. This is simply ridiculously incredible and unbelieveable!
Not to mention those bigger, professional blog sites; a small blogging space such as mine, is also prone to fall victim to spams. Honestly, if it was not for Akismet, webmasters, or specifically blog owners, will find it really tedious and time-consuming to keep removing redundant comments.
I can never give enough praise to Akismet that set the standard to track down spam comments so these can be filtered. Good work Akismet Team, once again!
