Apple has finally released the next version of iOS 6.1. Below is the changes:

  • LTE support for more carriers
  • Purchase movie tickets through Fandango with Siri (USA only)
  • iTunes Match subscribers can now download individual songs from iCloud
  • New button to reset the Advertising Identifier

In addition, the update comes with several improvements and bug fixes. Upgrade to the latest version using iTune today.

Apple has finally realized the needs of its consumer, introducing the new sleek design of Apple’s iTunes 11! So, what has Apple done to the latest version?

The overly-cluttered interface has been improvised to look cleaner; it is also faster in starting up and accessing (typically in Windows operating system); and introduced some new features. One may feel weird and unfamiliar during first-time use of iTunes 11, however, it is not too difficult to restore back the original look, but I guess it still works for me in the new interface.

Skoob – Singapore’s First eBook Service

skoobSkoob is Singapore’s first eBook service! Launched by SingTel Idea Factory Pte Ltd, this service is a first-of-its-kind that publishes the works of local and foreign writers, including but not limited to study guides and educational books for local primary and secondary school students.

Available on both Apple’s iOS and Google’s Android platform, the apps can be downloaded for free. Furthermore, e-book service tends to offer more savings than traditional hard copy paper books, as much as 60% savings! Not to mention, some e-books can be downloaded for free.

According to SingTel spokesman, payment for e-book material can be made via Singapore credit cards, whereby each purchased book can be downloaded on up to five devices. SingTel customers are also given the option to have purchases charged to their monthly bills.

For more information, Apple customers can access iTunes to check out this app, and Andriod smartphone owners can access their account to search for Skoob.
