Upgraded Site to WordPress 2.8 Beta 2

May 25, 2009 · Posted in Site Info

WordPress LogoI’ve just upgraded my site to the latest development version of WordPress 2.8 Beta 2. Unfortunately, something seems to be broken here. Not sure is it because of the memory allocation issue, of the poor memory optimisation of the WordPress application, I kept getting out of memory error.

Furthermore, the Flash Uploader also encountered IO issue. I guess that’s the trade-off for trying out the latest version before it turns official.

Personally, in comparison to WordPress 2.7.1, there is not much of a difference; in terms of interface. I’d better go and check out the log to investigate what are the changes here.
