Watching King Kong on TV

Peter Jackson‘s movie premiere, King Kong, is showing on television this evening. It has been split into 2 parts; the first to be shown at 7:30pm, the second at 9:30pm at +8hrs GMT. I recalled watching this film some time back and it was pretty incredible, knowing that Peter Jackson has directed a successful The Lords of the Rings trilogy, this film must be something up to expectation.

Without a doubt, King Kong has lived up to my expectation at least. Unfortunately, the ending is somewhat sad, but it is probably according to the script that the original author who wrote about King Kong has decided its fate.

Starring Naomi Watts, Jack Black and Adrien Brody, the film has demonstrated its capacity in bringing the standard to Steven Spielberg’s Jurassic Park. In general, this is a thriller type of film with a slow opening. The intermediate section is full of excitement that brings your adrenalin running wild. Towards the end, when King Kong was captured and escaped into the city, the demise of the gigantic beast brings a sadness to the eyes of every viewers. Were the people educated about extinction of species and wildlife protection? I guess not.

Anyway, good work to the film production team, a well-crafted and creative plot to showcase bringing no fewer than a couple of blinks to ensure you keep track with the scenes.
