My recommendation to those who have yet to upgrade to WordPress 2.5; please don’t! I do run some other blog sites, having upgraded one of them to try out WordPress 2.5, it came to my knowledge that not everything is always beautiful with higher versions.

Despite the huge interface change, there are also other areas, which WordPress has made itself less user-friendly (in my opinion). One of them is the “Media Uploader“, which basically uses Ajax and loads of Java scripts to work. I tried uploading an image file to the WordPress site, only to find it giving me “HTTP Error“.

It took me quite some time to research the Internet finding solution to resolve this WordPress issue. Finally, after an hour of hardwork, I found the solution - it requires the editing of .htaccess file. *sigh* WordPress has made it less user-friendly and apart from that, it has included far too many features to the GUI. Just too confusing!
