WordPress Mobile Edition Plugin

WordPress Mobile EditionThanks to Al’s introduction on SelfMadeMinds, I came across this nifty, sweet WordPress Mobile Edition plugin, developed by Alex King. Finding it relatively interesting, especially for people who are always on the move, carrying mobile devices; this plugin is definitely a plus point for WordPress blog sites.

With hesitation, I installed and activated it instantly on this blog site. However, there is only one issue regarding manual inclusion of a line of PHP code, which does not work for me. Perhaps, it’s because this blog is powered by a legacy version of WordPress, i.e. WordPress 2.0.11.

Nevertheless, I removed that line. What’s more important, it should work on mobile devices. Hence, I tried out the plugin using an online emulator, and it works.

Hence, I am quite delighted about the effect. It should help to save on bandwidth for mobile users.
