Work Laptop Configuration

September 1, 2008 · Posted in Inventory

The screen-shot (shown on the right) is a configuration of my work laptop, using CPU-Z application. As it can be seen, the memory is running on a PC2700 133MHz memory chip, manufactured by Infineon late in 2005.

Is there a way to power up or increase the memory chip processing speed for performance. Somewhat, this is a little slow on my laptop, but manageable.

It is quite common to do so on a non-Intel Desktop, but not so easy on a laptop. Looks like the only way to improve performance, is to get another laptop with a powerhouse processor chip!
